ABC Veterinary Hospital

My 2 dogs went to boarding for 11 days came back picked them up and they were coughing so bad. Called boarding/old vet and they stated didn’t notice them coughing!! Took them to ABC and immediately realized both dogs had ear infections and one had bronchitis and a tail infection. (Bulldogs have crazy tails). Needless to say 2 antibiotics each, eye medication for dry eye, etc…. This vet is fantastic! Both dogs still coughing but not as bad. Getting better!

It took us so long to find a vet we liked for our new rescue, this place was the first to really care. We've been bringing our pup here for 2 years now and each time has been great, staff is amazing, vet techs, doctors, all know how to handle and take care of our fur baby! Treatment plans are always clear and post- visit care is always top- notch!

I cannot speak highly enough of this clinic!!! Everyone from reception to the DVM was so incredible!! I called in urgent need (largely due to my own poor foresight), late in the day, looking for anyone who had same-day space for a medication consultation. My recently adopted dog had dangerously destructive seperation anxiety to the point of bending the bars on her kennel to reach and chew on the laundry, flipping the kennel it on its side, tearing apart the kennel tray and carpet below, and even breaking herself out. The receptionist worked so hard to find me an opening, and eventually told me that she would keep trying to find me space, and to just start driving. She said even if she can't find me space there, she knew other facilities where I could. Just 5 minutes into my drive, she called to let me know she'd found me a slot, and asked if my dog needed a private entrance or any special accommodations since she is a former feral. She made sure we were totally safe and comfortable! The tech/assistant that checked us in was incredibly patient while I gently coaxed my girl onto the scale, and even waited while I double checked her surprising weight. I was able to stay with my dog for the whole appointment. The Dr. Heather Kaplan listened to all my concerns and my request for behavior medication, thoroughly looked at all the possibilities and agreed on prescription help. She was so gentle with my dog and spent time giving her treats and pets until she was comfortable with the stethoscope and exam handling. We left with exactly what we needed, and a beautiful introduction to the vet for my new pup! Today was my girl's first day on her behavior medication and she was able to focus her chewing on just her toys, and I came home to a safe and happy girl! Looking forward to bringing all my pets here in the future!! And looking forward to the progress my dog is already making!!

Our dog is older and has a few health problems, but Dr. Kaplan has kept him feeling good and still very active. She and everyone else in the office always treats us so nicely and they are all very efficient. I highly recommend ABC for pets of all ages! Update: Our older dog has sadly passed away and we've now adopted a new dog. One of the first things we did is make an appointment with Dr. Kaplan to get her established with her. I know our new baby will get the same wonderful care our beloved older dog received.
